About the Project

Generating for Generations is a social cause that began in September 2024 to support NGOs across India to access sustainable energy. In order to address the issue at hand, the cause will visit several organizations to determine their power requirements. After having gathered data on energy requirements, frequency of power outages, and general access to energy, the project is crowdfunding generators which will be delivered to said NGOs to help meet their electrification needs.

Generating for Generations also plans on collaborating with GenMot Coils, a Bangalore based company, to work towards making the production and process of manufacture of generator parts more sustainable.

Plans for the initiative include launching the Path to Power podcast, which will break down the various steps in supply chain sustainability, and organizing the Fuel for the Future fundraiser to raise further capital for generator donations.
